What is Áiseanna as Gaeilge and why should I join?

I set up Áiseanna as Gaeilge in 2019 as a way of providing affordable resources through Irish for primary school teachers. When I began my teaching journey in 2008, online downloadable teaching resources were few and far between, and looking for ones as Gaeilge was next to impossible. Many, many painstaking hours were spent creating my own resources to take into the classroom during my placements and when I was fully qualified. I always vowed that I would create something as Gaeilge to help teachers, but at that stage I wasn’t sure what that would be.

Fast forward ten years later I decided to set up Áiseanna as Gaeilge. I wanted to make it as affordable as I could and have spent many long hours pouring my heart and soul into making resources and creating this website.

What do I get when I join?

When you sign up you get instant access to all resources on the website, there are currently over 100. All resources are made to the highest standard with the ease of use in the classroom in mind. There are phonics packs, sight words resources, bundles for teaching particular themes including Bia, Ar scoil, etc. There are resources for special occasions including Oíche Shamhna, An Nollaig, An Cháisc, many posters to aid teaching in your classroom including uimhreacha, na míonna, an aibitír.

How much is it ?

Membership is priced at €9.99 per month with cancellation anytime you wish, or €95.00 for the full yearly subscription. Members can also get in contact regarding resources they feel would be beneficial for the teaching of Irish in their classroom and it will be added to the Resource Request sheet.
